21 Jan 2015 - 21:08

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Switzerland is seeking the further expansion of bilateral ties with Iran, said Swiss Ambassador to Iran Julio Haus.
“Switzerland is not a threat for any country, and we are trying to boost our relations with Iran,” Haus said in a meeting with Governor of South Khorasan Province, northeastern Iran, Vajhollah Khedmatgozar.

“Switzerland believes Iran and thinks that the country has chosen the right path. We guarantee that certain concerns of the international community on Iran will be eased,” he added.

The Swiss diplomat also highlighted Iranian industrial, economic, scientific and tourism potentials, and said Iranian tourism industry rose by 30-40 percent in Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s government.

He also said that Swiss tourists are willing to visit Iran again and because of Iranians’ hospitality.
