21 Jan 2015 - 17:05

Fouman, Gilan Prov, Jan 21, IRNA – First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri said young graduates are the capacity of the country and Iran’s economy has the potential to create 800,000 to one million job opportunities annually.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of Foumanat MDF production line in this northern province, he said under the present condition the country is in need of investment of the private sector for creation of job opportunities.
He referred to unemployment as one of the main concerns under the status quo and said there are many unemployed young people who are graduated from universities throughout the country.

He regretted that creation of job opportunities in the country in the past decade was close to zero.

He said being doubtful about goodness or badness of the private sector is not in the interest of the country, adding that when the outlines of implementation of Article 44 were declared by the Supreme Leader it meant the private sector should become vastly active.

The VP stressed that Iran is competent in the region in all accounts and enjoys rich natural resources and mines as well as young and powerful manpower.

He said it should be reminded that the West today is making attempts to attract competent youths in other countries, adding that with regard to the fact that the country possesses young and talented manpower therefore they should be led towards production.

He further noted that the government should provide the required facilities for the investment of the private sector, underlining the need for stability of the economic situation in the country.
