400,000 new job opportunities to be created by year-end

Ilam prov, Jan 14, IRNA – Some 400,000 new employment opportunities are expected to be created for Iranian unemployed workforce by the end of the current Iranian year (started March 21, 2014), an official said on Wednesday.
  Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare Hassan Tayee told IRNA that the addition of new jobs is expected due to a growth in production and investment.
Tayee put the current number of employed Iranians at 21.5million and said that the number is expected to rise to 35 million by 2015, as envisioned in the country's 20-year Strategy Plan.

He said the country needs between 800,000 to 900,000 new jobs to be created every year, adding that creating new employment opportunities and preserving the existing ones is of special significance.
