Three Islamic proximity figures honored

Tehran, Jan 10, IRNA – Three pioneer and influential personalities contributing to the proximity among Islamic faiths were honored by participants of the 28th International Islamic Unity Conference.
  On the last day of the conference here on Friday, three known characters of proximity, Imam Mussa Sadr, Ayatollah Mohammad Vaez-Zadeh Khorasani and Sheikh Saeed Sha'ban were honored.
Imam Mussa Sadr was among pioneers and activists of Islamic faiths proximity from Lebanon.

Ayatollah Vaez-Zadeh Khorasani was the first secretary general of the World Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought, and founder of Islamic Faiths University.

And Sheikh Saeed Sha'ban a known Sunni scholar and founder of Lebanon Islamic Towhid Movement, a founding member of Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought.

The 28th International Islamic Unity Conference was participated by 600 domestic and foreign scholars from 69 countries in Tehran from January 7-9 , 2015.
