Minister: Iran ready to admit Iraqi students to specialized courses

Tehran, Jan 5, IRNA – Iran's Health Minister Hassan Hashemi said on Monday that Iran is ready to admit Iraqi students to Medical fields and specialized courses.
  According to public relations office of the Ministry, he made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Iraqi Health Minister Adila Hammoud Hussein.
She arrived in Tehran on Sunday upon invitation of her Iranian counterpart.

The two officials discussed different fields of cooperation such as health tourism, construction of hospital, production of medicine, training medical treatment and short term fellowship.

Hashemi expressed hope that the meeting would be a beginning for medical cooperation between the two countries.

Meanwhile, Adila Hammoud Hussein and accompanying delegation are scheduled to visit Tehran's Heart Center and several other medical centers as well as pharmaceutical companies in Iran during her several days visit.

She is due to meet with Majlis ( parliament) Speaker Ali Larijani and head of Majlis health and treatment commission.

Adila Hammoud Hussein will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in different fields of health, treatment, medicine and medical education.
