TEHRAN Jan 05 (Shana)--Gas condensate production from Phase 12 of South Pars gas field has earned the country $1.5 billion for nearly 10 months.
Phase 12, which is the main development phase of the giant offshore gas field, has produced 7.8 million barrels of condensate since last March.
Platforms 12A and 12B of South Pars are producing 2 bcf/d of gas and Platform 12C is expected to become operational soon.
Once fully operational, Phase 12 would feed 3 bcf/d of sour gas (equivalent to 65 mcm/d of sweet gas) into national trunklines.
Phase 12 is currently supplying 75,750 mb/d of gas condensate.
