Iran's embassy to reopen in Morocco: Spokesperson

Tehran, Dec 31, IRNA – Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Marziyeh Afkham, in her weekly press briefing on Wednesday, Iran and Morocco are working to reopen their embassies in Tehran and Rabat.
  She said following telephone conversations between foreign ministers of Iran and Morocco last year, restarting diplomatic relations was declared and Iran's new ambassador was appointed and Moroccan officials also intend to reopen their embassy here and to appoint their new ambassador to Tehran.
She continued that Iran tries to make relations with all Arab and Islamic countries, adding our relations with Morocco had different phases and Iran desires more dialogue and establishment of normal ties with Arab and Islamic states.

Concerning recent visit of Deputy Foreign Minister in Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian to the United Arab Emirates, Afkham said that holding talks and exchanging delegations with neighboring countries, including littoral states of Persian Gulf is normal.

Bilateral issues and Iranian problems were among issues discussed in the meetings, said the spokeswoman.
