Drilling services up 11 percent

TEHRAN Dec 30 (Shana)--During the first 9 months of current Iranian calendar year to March 2015, providing drilling services went up by 11 percent when compared with similar period last year.
Deputy Head of the National Iranian Drilling Company (NIDC) Hamidreza Khoshayand said Monday that the figures also show a 7% rise in technical services during the mentioned period.
According to the NIDC official the company is in charge of providing almost 80 percent of technical services to oil and gas fields across the country.
NIDC was founded in 1979 and operates as a subsidiary of National Iranian Oil Company. NIDC engages in the exploration, development, and delineation drilling of oil and gas wells. It owns and operates drilling rigs and equipment for providing drilling services.
The company’s services include well logging, cementing and acidizing, drill stem test, well testing, training and development, and general services. NIDC is in charge of all offshore and onshore drilling activities.
