At least 50 ISIL Takfiri terrorists have reportedly been killed in clashes, bombings and US-led airstrikes in Syria’s flashpoint town of Kobani.
The so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said on Sunday that the militants were killed in the past 24 hours.

The figure indicates one of the highest daily tolls for the terror group since it launched an assault on the strategic northern town on the Turkish border, the UK-based group added.

Eleven of the militants were killed in clashes between the Kurdish defenders of Kobani and the Takfiris.

SOHR said on November 9 that more than 1,000 people had been killed in the battle for Kobani since the beginning of the fight in mid-September.

As a result of the violence, more than 200,000 Kobani residents have also fled across the border into Turkey.

The ISIL militants have seized large swathes of land in Iraq and Syria, terrorizing and killing people of all communities, including Shias, Sunnis, Kurds and Christians, in the areas they are controlling.

Syria has been grappling with a deadly crisis since March 2011. The violence fuelled by Takfiri groups has so far claimed the lives of over 200,000 people, according to reports.
