8 Nov 2014 - 14:24

Tehran, Nov 8, IRNA – Venezuelan Ambassador to Tehran Amenhotep Zambrano said his country was interested in importing pharmaceutical items from Iran.
He made the remarks in a meeting with the head of Iran's Trade Development Organization Valliollah Afkhami-rad.
Referring to Iran's high capacities in producing drugs and medicines, he called on Iran to dispatch a representative to Venezuela to prepare ground for signing contracts.

He said Venezuelan market would open a new gate for Iran to Latin America.

He further announced that Venezuelan minister of industries is going to visit Iran in two weeks, adding that the trip will help remove the existing obstacles on the way of bilateral trade.

Afkhami-rad said that the Iranian vice-president is also to visit Venezuela in the next few weeks.
