Foreign investors interested in Ashuradeh

Gorgan, Golestan Prov., Nov 4, IRNA – Investment capacities in the field of sturgeon fish and tourism in Ashuradeh Island has attracted the attention of representatives from Russia and Dagestan.
Maxim Baranov, Russian Consul General in Rasht and Aliyev, economic representative of the Dagestan Republic inspected the island together with a number of provincial officials.
The inspection was made with an aim of examining grounds for investment and participation in projects of fishery and sturgeon fish as well as plans for tourism in Ashuradeh.

During the visit, in addition to the coasts of Ashuradeh the cage fishing project was also inspected.

Later, in a session held with economic representative of Dagestan, the economic situation of the province as well as provincial mine and mining sector were explained to the participants.

In addition to being Dagestan economic representative, Aliyev is the head of the board of directors of Oil Mineral Investment in Iran.

The Dagestan official expressed his interest in making investment in the establishment of a tourism village in the province and announced that preliminaries have been completed and implementation of the project has been finalized.

Furthermore, he added, a similar project is under study in Derazno region in Gorgan which he hoped would be completed soon.
