Iran to partake in Intl. Islamic Arts Festival in Malaysia

Iran is slated to represent its various works of art at the second International Islamic Arts and Cultural Festival (PIIACUF) in Putrajaya, Malaysia.
Some 20 Iranian artists will showcase their works in diverse fields such as calligraphy, painting, miniature, music and Iranian cuisine.

PIIACUF 2014 is programmed to host over 100,000 visitors from the arts and culture, academia, professionals, business services and foreign mission communities and participation of 10 Islamic countries such as Palestine, Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia, and Yemen.

This year’s event will take its visitors through a journey of enlightenment Islamic arts and culture with focus on ‘Wonders Of Islamic World.’

The second International Islamic Arts and Cultural Festival (PIIACUF) is scheduled to take place from October 30 to November 2 in Malaysia.

“The Putrajaya International Islamic Arts and Cultural Festival (PIIACUF) is aimed at pioneering the values of Islam through the perspective of a moderate society where arts and culture takes center stage in delivering the messages of Islam to the world.”

Malaysia had earlier hosted Iranian art and calligraphy exhibition of the holy Qur’an at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre in 2011.
