Iran, Turkey exchange views on regional developments

Ankara, Oct 11, IRNA – Iran's Ambassador to Ankara Ali-Reza Bigdeli on Saturday held talks with Ümit Yalçin, Turkey's Deputy Acting Foreign Minister.
The two officials called for regular consultations and regional cooperation between the two governments in light of the current situation in the region.
The attached importance to to the meeting of Iranian and Turkish presidents in New York on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

The two officials said that consultations and regional cooperation would help the Iranian and Turkish governments to help resolve the regional crises.

Yalcin, for his part, called for regular consultations and cooperation.

The two officials said that the regional governments must guarantee peace and stability in the region and make efforts to develop unity of Muslims.
