Nuclear negotiators should resist illegal demands: Senior cleric

Tehran, Sept 26, IRNA – Iran's nuclear negotiating team should resist G5+1 illegal demands, Tehran's Interim Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Kazem Seddiqi said in the second sermon of his prayers.
He praised President Hassan Rouhani's remarks in the UN General Assembly annual meeting in New York.

Iran will continue the nuclear talks to prove the peaceful nature of its nuclear program but has no trust in the world powers, the cleric added.

He said that Iran will not give up its right for peaceful use of nuclear energy and urged the negotiating team to resist G5+1 illegal demands.

The negotiating team should consider the red lines including the country's need for enrichment, Seddiqi announced.

He also hailed Yemeni nation's political achievements, adding that it is a beginning for establishment of democracy in theregion.
