Minister: Iran keen to improve health ties with world

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iranian Health Minister Seyed Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi stressed that the country seeks to enhance its relations with the world states, specially in health and hygiene.
The improvement of Iranian health system’s performance at the international level is necessary, Hashemi said in a meeting with Iranian ambassadors and diplomats.

He added that the government has taken serious measures for the development of health sector, and underlined, “We are keen to forge health cooperation with other countries to improve our capabilities."

The minister said efforts should be made to raise the awareness of foreign investors about Iran’s health sector, stressing that the Health Ministry is responsible for facilitating diplomatic efforts in the field of health.

“The ministry should not only protect the health of people, but also introduce Iran’s health potential to foreign countries,” he said.

In the recent years, Iranian scientists and experts have taken wide leaps in scientific, medical and technological fields.
