Iranian Roboticists awarded first prize

Nasim–  Iranian Robotic team earned first award of the International Aerial Robotics Competition (IARC) in Shanghai, China for their best aerial systems integration and for the best vertical flight robot design.
Abdolahad Pakbaz, Nasser Nosrat Zehi and Mohammad Baset Derazehi are the members of the winning team titled Makran from Saravan Azad Univeristy in Iran’s Sistan and Baluchistan Province.

The International Aerial Robotics Competition is the longest running collegiate aerial robotics challenge in the world. The competition tackles challenges that are currently impossible for any flying robots owned by government or industry.

The 2014 edition of International Aerial Robotics Competition took place from August 1 to 7.
