Iranian infrastructure suffers significant damage caused by floods

Floods that hit Iran today have damaged the infrastructure of the country's cities of Chalus and Nowshahr, Iranian television's news website iribnews.ir reported on Monday.

According to the report, floods that took place as a result of torrential rains have caused damage to the infrastructure, roads, houses and cultivated areas and gas and electricity supply was cut in some places.

According to the agency, there are dead and injured and their exact number is being specified. Rescue and repair work is underway in the affected regions.
