Iranian lawmakers urge government to adopt Hijab laws

Nasim— More than 195 members of Iran Parliament (Majlis) called on President Rouhani and his cabinet to seriously adopt the laws of Hijab in order to save family and Islamic life style.
Over a letter, read in public hearing on Sunday, lawmakers slammed western attempts to change Islamic values and lifestyle, stressing that hijab is directly connected to the families.

Earlier on May 7, thousands of Iranians also gathered in Tehran to protest to some of the dress code over public indecency, calling on government and authorities to take actions.
