24 Dec 2012 - 16:15

The historical hamam (bath) of Sultan Amir Ahmad is one of the most idiosyncratic Hamams in Iran in terms of architecture and decoration. With an area of 1102 m2, this hamam is located in the ancient city of Kashan. The bath dates back to the Seljuq Empire and the Qajar dynasty. One of the main materials in this building is lime. The 17 reconstruction layers of the tore demonstrate its age. Another masterpiece in the building is its roof.
